Equipment Guide
Rock Break / Hammer
Excavations Unlimited has mini excavators with a choice of interchangeable buckets, including a 900mm mud bucket, a 450mm trenching bucket, and a 300 mm trenching bucket. With this range of buckets, the mini excavator is perfect for trenching for electrical and plumbing projects, footings, and just about any other earthmoving jobs, you can imagine. It is also useful for leveling areas, digging up tree stumps, digging pools, and excavating under houses. Other attachments include a ripper and rock breaker/ hammer attachment.
Post Hole Digger
The mini excavator with post hole/ auger attachment is the perfect combination for a variety of clean-up, renovation, and building jobs. Used to bore vertical holes into the ground, the post hole digger can dig holes to a diameter of 200mm, 300mm, or 450mm to a depth of 2.2 metres. Hiring the mini excavator with a post hole digger means you can clear, level, and drill holes for posts, piers, and footings.
Bobcat
The Posi-track Bobcat is a versatile machine with many applications, including digging, spreading and leveling loading trucks, and clearing gardens and shrubbery. Along with versatility, the Posi-track Bobcat offers incredible maneuverability and causes minimal damage to work areas. Excavations Unlimited has a 1.6-ton Posi-track bobcat (on tracks) that is perfect for properties with access problems, steep terraces, limited space, or unstable surfaces.
Equipment
Unlimited Excavations in Limited SpacesAt Excavations Unlimited, we specialize in mini bobcat and excavator hire to get into small areas that larger machines cannot access. Our mini earthmoving machinery will come to you on the Gold Coast and in the Tweed Heads and Northern NSW areas. When you hire mini earthmoving machinery, you will quickly discover why it is the perfect choice for all earthworks projects in residential areas and on properties with slopes and reduced access. Small diggers and bobcats have many advantages including:• More maneuverability in places with limited access• Less damage to outdoor areas than larger machinery – existing turf and concrete is less likely to be compromised by mini earthmoving machinery• Safer to use in areas with underground services and shallow plumbing• More cost efficient• Less invasive and less likely to disrupt the neighborhood as much as larger machinery• Easy to transport across sites, or to a number of different sites if required. Of course, there are major projects that require heavy machinery but as a rule, mini bobcats, excavators, and diggers can perform most of the earthworks needed on residential blocks. Their compact size does not mean they lack power and most of all why it is the perfect choice for all earthworks projects in residential areas and on properties with slopes and reduced access.
