It is also useful for levelling areas, digging up tree stumps, digging pools and excavating under houses. Without a rock breaker, digging would come to stop, and hand-held jackhammers would have to be used. This would mean that the overall project would slow down as hand-held jackhammers are not as efficient as machinery, and sometimes they are not up to the work at all. The rock hammer is a useful tool to have on hand for breaking up concrete, bitumen, and block and brick walls.
